This Privacy Policy explains how Table Exporter ("we", "us", or "the Extension") handles information. Table Exporter is a browser extension that lets you export tables, lists and grids from webpages into CSV, TSV, JSON, Markdown or HTML.

1. We do not collect your data

The Extension performs all parsing and exporting locally inside your browser. It does not send the webpages you visit, the tables you export, or any personal information to our servers or to any third party. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking code in the Extension.

2. Local storage

The Extension uses your browser's chrome.storage.sync to save your own export preferences — such as default format, delimiter, and filename template. These settings belong to you, sync with your own browser account, and are not read or uploaded by us.

3. How exports work

Exports are saved to your device through the browser's download function, or copied to your system clipboard. Your files and content stay on your device at all times.

4. Permissions

• activeTab / scripting — used only when you click the Extension, to read the current page and detect tables.
• downloads — used to save the exported file to your device.
• contextMenus — used to add right-click menu items that trigger export.
• storage — used to remember your preferences.
• clipboardWrite — used to copy exported data to the clipboard.

Each permission is used solely for the function described and for no other purpose.

5. User-provided content

If you export a page that contains personal information (for example, a customer list), that content is written to your own device and is not transmitted to us. You are responsible for how you store and share exported files.

6. Children

The Extension is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

7. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
